Our goal is to assist each consumer in the area to improve his/her ability to live successfully in the community of his/her choice with the least amount of professional intervention.

Our programs are here to help you realize your full potential, regardless of your ability to pay. NEDHSA recognizes that it takes an enormous amount of courage to seek help and commends you for your resiliency and spirit. We understand that the journey of recovery is an ongoing and sometimes challenging process for you, family members, and friends. Fees are charged according to a limited liability scale based on income and the number of dependents. No one is denied services because of an inability to pay.
There may be a charge for urine screens or co-payment fees as applicable. Medicare, Medicaid, private funds, and insurance payments are accepted.
Medical/Primary Care Services
Health is influenced by many factors: genetics, behavior, environment, medical and social factors. All of which are interconnected. The idea behind medical/primary care is to provide integrated “health care” options that no longer bring to mind “sick care” practices. On the health end of the spectrum, the focus is on prevention and being proactive in doing things to promote and support health. On the “sick care” end, the focus is on addressing the crisis and being reactive to the disease or illness.
NEDHSA services strive to promote wellness and preventative care, thus a more “healthy lifestyle” approach that will transform our region’s population health and assist with furthering public health initiatives.
Preventive care is a key focus in a good primary care practice. Our providers are on a mission to help you stay healthy with regular checkups. We’re also there for you when you get sick, whether it’s an occasional acute illness or support and guidance in managing a chronic condition. Some of the most important services we provide are:
• Basic screenings, well visits, and physicals
• Vital sign assessments
• Laboratory services
• Treating acute illnesses and injuries
• Managing chronic illness and coordinating complex care with specialists
• Educational services for nutrition and a healthy lifestyle
• Referrals to appropriate specialists and Primary Care Physicians
