Welcome to Season 2 of “It Is What It Is,” a one-of-a-kind radio talk show program sponsored by Northeast Delta Human Services Authority (NE Delta HSA).
This season, listeners will enjoy a broader reach on dual stations, a plethora of relevant topics, special guests, multi-line call in capabilities, in studio Livestreaming, Facebook Live coverage, and so much more.
“It What It Is” seeks to give voice and perspective to those who are battling and seeking to overcome challenges associated with poverty, mental illness, addiction, developmental disability, and other life challenges. The show will give listeners valuable information and strategies on how to navigate broken family and social systems that often restrict individuals from being all they were purposed to be. Additionally, this new talk radio platform helps NE Delta HSA communicate its regional program offerings and share how its award winning integrated healthcare model is helping to transform northeast Louisiana.
Each hour-long segment is co-hosted by NE Delta HSA Public Information Director, Tenille T. Terry and NE Delta HSA Executive Director, Dr. Monteic A. Sizer. The program airs every Friday morning from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on KMLB 105.7 FM & 540 AM (Monroe, Louisiana). The program is also carried online by KMLB and via NE Delta HSA’s Facebook page. Listeners can submit questions across NE Delta HSA's social media platforms and share personal stories and experiences on how they overcame some of life's most difficult challenges there as well.
“Human beings are resilient when hope and opportunities are present," said Dr. Sizer. "Our mission with this talk show is to help guide and equip those who are trying and willing to help themselves through some of life's most difficult circumstances. We aim to inspire, challenge and empower those seeking a better life,” he stated.
