Dr. Jeanie McGee serves as Director of Behavioral and Primary Health Analytics, where she oversees the aggregation, validation, and analysis of behavioral and primary health clinical data and the development of clinical outcomes reports, providing scientifically sound information and guidance for data-driven decision-making in Northeast Delta’s integrated healthcare model.
Prior to this role, Dr. McGee served as Director of Neurology Research and Assistant Professor of Research at Louisiana State University Health Sciences in Shreveport (LSUHSC-S), Louisiana for 10 years, where she provided oversight for neuroscience clinical research trials and taught biostatistics and research methodology to medical students, residents, and fellow faculty members. Overall, Dr. McGee has over 20 years’ experience in clinical research, biostatistics, and teaching and has worked in psychiatry, neurosurgery, and neurology research at LSUHSC-S, as well as pediatric orthopedics at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dr. McGee has been active in academic research and medical writing and has authored and/or co-authored over 50 journal articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, as well as several book chapters in the neurosciences.
Dr. McGee holds a Bachelor's in Psychology from Louisiana State University, a Masters in Health Sciences - Clinical Research Administration from George Washington University, and a Doctorate in Health Education and Research from A.T. Still University. She is also a Certified Health Education Specialist and a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator.
