“Do No Harm” Documentary Theatrical Screening

Northeast Delta Human Services Authority (NEDHSA) will host a Theatrical Screening of “Do No Harm: The Opioid Epidemic” at the Cinemark Tinseltown Movie Theater in West Monroe, Louisiana on May 30th at 10:30 A.M.

This event is part of a continuing effort by NEDHSA to raise public awareness of the opioid epidemic in America, by continuing to spark discussion around the opioid epidemic. The goal being to encourage public policy advocacy and call citizens and leaders to action.

Film Summary: “A national public health emergency is sweeping through North America. In this close examination of the opioid crisis – the most deadly epidemic to devastate the US in recent years – medical professionals come together to deliver their verdict. Narrated by Ed Harris, ‘Do No Harm’ shows us the devastating effects of these drugs, and casts light up on those who must be held accountable.”

Continuing Education Credits (CEU’s) will be available for those in attendance: 2.5 Hours.

The event will begin at 10:30 A.M. on May 30th, with the film starting at 11 A.M.
